Vico Magistretti "Carimate" dining chair for Cassina. The "Carimate" chair is one of Vico Magistretti’s most famous chairs. Magistretti created this chair for the 'Club House of Carimate's Golf Club' restaurant. The chairs changed to four different manufacturers until Magistretti requested a patent for the construction in 1963. The "Carimate" chair is inspired by the tradition of countryside furniture and simple materials such as straw and wood.
